Performance evaluation

We save managers and school administrators time, risk and stress by assisting in this essential function. We help organizations develop appropriate, efficient and defensible evaluation policies and systems that will be respected by employees and effective for the organization. We can also become directly involved in conducting performance reviews for employees at all levels of the organization.

Private consultation, mentoring and coaching

Confidential mentoring and coaching for both experienced and beginning school administrators. Mentors and coaches are themselves experienced and successful administrators who can help leaders think through situations, and provide a confidential sounding-board in a risk-free process. Individual programs are arranged on either a regular or "as-need" basis. Contact is primarily by telephone and email.

Training and Professional Development

Training and professional development programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each organization. Programs can be single or multiple event, or ongoing. Training is offered for all types of organizations in the following areas:

Strategic Planning

Our strategic planning approach is highly focused and practical. Too easily, these processes can collapse under their own weight! We believe that much can be achieved through a fairly quick analysis, identifying a few, high priority, worthwhile and achievable goals.

School Leader Search

Our search process begins with a careful investigation of the school's needs and priorities. Candidates' backgrounds are very thoroughly researched. Because of the care, focus and personal attention we wish to be able to give to each search, only a limited number of search assignments are accepted for each school year.

All work accepted by Oppenheim Education and Management Consulting is personally conducted or supervised by Claude Oppenheim. Other consultants are involved as needed to meet the requirements of the particular assignment. All services are provided by experienced professionals, with appropriate specialized expertise.
